About Course

During this course, you will embark on your own personal tour of the Bayou … The Bayou Bridges Social Studies Curriculum, that is! This tour has two attractions. The first attraction takes you through research-based teaching practices for Social Studies instructions. We will take a quick swim with the Louisiana Student Standards for Social Studies to understand how the curriculum was developed. The second stop on our tour, will take on a personalized ownership journey of one of the Bayou Bridges Units for your grade-level.
