Our action plans include an extensive review of individual schools or entire districts designed to determine focus areas and leverage curriculum resources for instructional growth. We collect qualitative and quantitative data from classrooms to uncover unique instructional trends in student performance. We collaboratively plan with school and district leadership to customize a plan for leader and teacher development that will lead to student growth.

Curriculum Implementation

Whether you are implementing a new curriculum or are looking to refine existing curriculum practices, we offer a step-by-step process to ensure you leverage your curriculum to impact student performance. This level of support is based on the systems, structures, and practices found in our book, The Tier One Curriculum Trap. Training may include how to use the Implementation Checkpoints, the Unit and Lesson Ownership process, and planning PLC support.

Teacher Leadership Academies

Our teacher leadership academies are district cohorts of teachers brought together to build both leadership and instructional capacity with job-embedded professional development. These gatherings are focused on high-leverage instructional moves that ensure teachers take ownership of the content of the lesson so students can take ownership over the learning of the lesson. Some teacher leadership academy topics include: unit and lesson ownership, determining high-leverage checks for understanding, analyzing student work, how to effectively plan and implement PLCs, etc. The goal of these academies is to build teacher leadership competencies and maximize instructional impact on both teachers and students.

Coaching Leadership Academies
